About This Image

Our garden seat, surrounded by beautiful purple rhododendrons, separated by a silver birch tree.
The rhododendrons are natural, woodland rhododendrons which were growing in the forest, on the site where our house is now situated.

Thanks for looking :)

Alandra, this is in our present garden and the rhododendrons have been beautiful, once again. The poor seat, needs some TLC this year, so that's on Chris's list of 'things to do'.LOL This is down on the bottom lawn where I commented about the mole problem on the Golden Torch photo'. Paul, I glad that you enjoyed this photo' and that it had some fond memories for you. Thanks for looking and leaving a comment. :)

This is one of those photographs that bring back memories of a similar place. Thanks for doing that.

a tranquil and pretty scene. Is this at your previous garden, Jas, as was wondering about the date.

When I was younger, I'd a vegetable garden. It was the time that I considered beauty as futile. You cultivate beauty, and pretty well. My best regards!

How beautiful this setting Jas. Great composition. Oh I love that birch tree that you have just to the side of the bench. The color of the blooms add so much to your capture. Thanks for sharing.

This is such a lovely picture. What could be lovelier than rhodendrons - West Virginia's State Flower - and a silver birch. My Dad brought my Mother in a Silver Birch from some of his traveling around. They placed it in her rock garden - so this picture aside from its beauty brings happy memories.

I like how the colorer flowers lead the eye to the bench. Very nostalgic looking photo with the custom edging.
