These cacti are native to only one area of the United States. That is in the southwestern desert of Arizona. There is even a National Monument down there called Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. It's a fascinating place for anyone who loves the desert.
This photo was taken in the desert botanical garden at Scottsdale Community College, near our home.
