About This Image

This beautiful buiding wore many caps after it was built in 1814. It's original life, as a jail, is still visible by the gated door and bars on the upstairs windows to the right.

It served as a courthouse from 1815 - 1874 - and was also used for church services before their houses of worship was built.

Thank you Mary. There were two purposes for the plaque addition - 1) it's obvious history and 2) it was the best way to hide cars in the back parking lot!!!!!!! Vicki

Vicki, I like the way you put this photo together with the history plaque in a frame by itself. Well done.

Nice image, Vicki! Your latest selection of waterfall images is causing my frame allergy to play up something rotten, though!
