Another Lighthouse shot. This one is the Ocracoke Lighthouse built in 1823. Not as tall as the Hatteras Lighthouse I posted 1st, but still a pretty one. There are 7 in all along the NC coast I believe. We only got to see 2 of them. Thanks for looking, Don

Thanks all. Vicki, I was very lucky. It rained most of the way across on the ferry. The skys broke at the last minute and I got the Ocracoke shot. The the same thing on the ferry to hatteras, more rain. I was definetly lucky to get any shots at all. Thanks again, Don

I saw your great Hatteras Light image Don, and wondered if you stopped by Ocracoke Light too - I never got any sunny days on the island when we took the ferry over last summer. This is great.

A beautiful shot and one of our favorite places but haven't been there in a while. The lighthouse is so pretty against the background of clouds.
