I dont know they sound kinda rusty to me[our nuthatches] they surely arent a songbird.LOL Thanks Mary and Alandra for commenting.

great capture, Carol. Such neat little birds. I read just lately that "your" nuthatches" have a different call than "ours" (which are the red breasted nuthatches) Ours have a more nasal sound, accounting for the description of the "rusty tin horn" sound of the red breasted nuthatches.
