Thanks for the comments Alandra and Mary,I'm glad you enjoyed it.They also have a patch of red on the back of their head. Its great having all these different critters drop in,but we seldom get a chance to leave,for fear of missing some of them.lol

Beautiful capture of this bird.As a photographer it must be very exciting to have all of the different birds visiting your yard and you being able to capture a photo of them.

gorgeous bird. Looks very much like the Northern Flickers we see here during the winter. slightly different colouring on the neck from what I can see here.
