About This Image

Northern Flicker at our feeding station, - earlier than usual, in mid August. Haven't seen him around since, - but today heard Flickers calling near our house, so hopefully they will return to the feeders soon again. Lovely large birds.
captured from open front window with telephoto lens, just happened to be sitting there with camera ready when this Flicker landed there : )
