thankyou Orchidea Blue. It was another clear day here and was we headed north towards Vancouver, we saw some great mountain views again, seems that more fresh snow has fallen on the peaks, and they did look wonderful, but we didn't stop for photos today. Should have.

thanks everyone, Karen, Anne, Steve,Carol and Alan, for the nice comments. Am happy you like it :) We have mountains surrounding this area,forming a sortof semicircle in the distance,on 3 "sides". Quite stunning scenery on days like that, which we were lucky to have recently. As you mentioned, the sun hitting the snow just worked out perfectly for the image that day :)

How very beautiful. I agree with Steve about the clouds in sky mirroring those of the snow and the mountains. Also an eye seems to be looking the earth over - a little quizically. It is a wonderful, breath-taking picture!!

Gorgeous view Alandra.. Wonderful colors. I like how you caught the sun lighting up the snow on the mountain top with the heavy storm clouds in the sky.
