wanted to add, that the flash went off in this shot, making the flower paler than it really is. The colours in the Nigella 2 version are more true. Altho there are some paler colours in the group, too.

Hi Janice, thanks for the nice praise. These are really pretty flowers and the lacey or fernlike leaves are so attractive also. It's always a nice surprise when they show up all over the place in the garden each summer. Very dainty plants

What a pretty color and purple flower. I love it. I love the way it looks as if a green plant is protuding out from the center of it.
