this photo was taken at the Botanical Gardens in Rarotonga. I loved the way the trunk of the Palm was covered.

Hi Gave I thought it had been woven also until I got up closer. I dont think I did take a photo of the whole tree. I think from memory this one had very few frongs and they were not in good condition

Tania, this is so unusual. I thought a garden club had been doing some unusual leaf designs. Did you take a photo of the tree.
