A.Lovely - Sep 20, 2008 10:32 AM EDT How wonderful,Whittler. You can see the trees and the sun in reverse.

bubbalinn - Sep 18, 2008 03:22 PM EDT Well I'm late like usual :( What a great photo and idea. When I first saw it I also thought it looked like a volcano exploding.
whittler113 - Sep 18, 2008 02:06 PM EDT Congratulations Don,you got it. I figured it was time to post a clue somewhere.LOL
donwrob - Sep 18, 2008 09:11 AM EDT Ok Alex. I got it! Thanks to your latest post as a clue. It is the morning sun through your hummingbird feeder! HA! :-) Don

whittler113 - Sep 17, 2008 05:38 AM EDT Thanks for the compliment Ann but Sorry its not a raindrop.
A.Lovely - Sep 16, 2008 06:39 PM EDT Wow Whittler great photograph. I'll go with Don, since you said
he was close. Through a rain drop the sun shines????
whittler113 - Sep 16, 2008 12:06 PM EDT Thanks for the great guesses,Brian and Bruce.Bruce and Don are close to guessing it.
azkul - Sep 16, 2008 11:16 AM EDT That's one of your best images Whittler. I've no idea what it really is, but here's what I thought of when I first looked at it:
A giant volcano erupting from the earth from space. The earth is waxing or waning (I can't ever remember which is which), and the volcano is spewing its lava so high that it's going up and into the dark portion of the planet.
The white reflections look like clouds to me.
Alfresco - Sep 16, 2008 11:11 AM EDT Interesting macro. Sunrise or sunset through a suspended water droplet from rain or dew?
whittler113 - Sep 16, 2008 07:11 AM EDT Thanks for the comment Don,sorry but thats not it.
donwrob - Sep 16, 2008 07:03 AM EDT Pretty capture Alex! I'm gonna take a guess, a drop of tree sap reflecting the morning sun? Don
