About This Image

This is a image of the container that holds my mystery contest entry, Lyle's Golden Syrup made from refined sugar.
I took the image in macro looking down in to the container with a dark lens filter.

I have enjoyed taking part in this contest and do hope that another will be ran again, how about you!

Wow, I was so wrong. Well done. In New Zealand, we have Golden Syrup and Treacle, which gives different flavours. Yummy on Pancakes piled with Bananas

Hello Chris, that was a good one :) Recall that can & product from childhood days -- the rather morbid words & image on the can puzzled me somewhat as a child."out of the strong came forth sweetness". Expect there are many people who live in the USA who would not know this product, but we can buy it here in Canada at some stores. It's not widely used tho'. Molasses is more widely known in North America, as is honey & Maple Syrup. Am thinking that "corn syrup" would be more of an equivalent to Golden Syrup. I haven't eaten it since leaving England, far as can recall. It was a fun contest.
