At the Spillway race, a 3 mile foot race, the contestants sometimes like to get muddy. They did not have to get this muddy but they chose to do this. My son is one of these people. The other is a friend of his. The Spillway is a floodway between the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana.

By the way, the lady in the background with the yellow shirt and brown baseball hat is my wife. I can tell by the way she stands and by the muddy shoes in her hand.
