thanks, Karen, yes, believe you're right about that. Sure looks to be the same wedged shaped head and body shape as in those ancient paintings : ) One vet loved him so much that she treated him with no charge, - she'd had Abysinnian cats herself, and loves them, so that was a nice gesture on her part, and a break for us : )

Oh yes. He's a beauty all right. I saw his long legs in your other pix. He's so unlike our Smokey, yet a cat just the same. So much variety.

Since there is not way to judge his size, he looks like he might be some large cat that lives around here on the desert. Fortunately, he's your friend. LOL.
