Mt.Taranaki

This is an excellent pic of Taranaki with the surrounding cloud and the dark trees below snow level. The exposure is just fine as is the composition and focus. This is a different sort of image to the 'normal' with Fantham's Peak and very little, or no, snow.

Woe, it looks like the mountain explodes from the bottom! Nice shot you must have hiked some elevation!

Hi Johnnyo, I just found this and thought it was taken today, we had a similar look on our side of the mountain today and with a fresh drop of snow, it was so neon white! This is very pleasant to view :)

Thanks Jas, looks good on a day like this but when its rainy and miserable, not so nice a place to be in. It still manages to take a few lives a year from un suspecting tourists who try to climb it.
