Have no idea on the variety or even if it is a moth or butterfly. But I do know a good picture when I see one and this qualifies.

Thank you Karen. To be honest, I was unsure if it was a moth or butterfly. I learn something new everyday. I didn't know they had different antennae - I need to get another reference book. It bothers me when I can't put the correct name to something. - Vicki

A beautiful image with delicate color and pattern on the wings. The antennae look like it might be a butterfly, although I'm not sure. Gorgeous against the dark background.
