As you know my family of Blackbirds have left the nest so I decided to clear away a lot of the overhanging bushes to let more light at the Clematis .. Chopped away a lot of branches

hacking and thrashing until I had no more room in the bin .. It was only then that I glanced at the empty nest and saw a pair of beady eyes watching me .. She is sitting on a second clutch of 4 eggs ..A bit of a fuzzy image .......

Amazing that she would sit still through all that commotion so I have left her to it .........
