Thanks for comment Alandra, I always knew where this was,as I grew up in this area. Salmon Falls village on the Saco river. The names on monument are the first white settlers that settled there.They were at war with the Indians, where the Indians were buried I dont know. Carol

nice that you found this, Carol. Did you just recently locate it, or had you known it was there before? Wondrin if it's a First Nations burial ground?

No there are no headstones just rocks.It is surrounded by a rock wall of sorts.Also you have to walk into the woods to find this cemetery. Thanks for comment. Carol

There are some really old grave sites there from the 1700 and 1800's. Did you get any photos of headstones?
