Isn't it odd that I noticed the little bit of pink sky before I noticed the larger reflection in the water. I love the mist rising like that. A Mystical Morning Moment! Great picture.

My favourite time of day (not that I'm up very often to see it!) captured beautifully. That little bit of colour reflected in the lake contrasts so well with the almost monochromatic tones of the rest of the frame. And I think the fact that you can't really see the bit of the sky that is reflected in the lake makes it all the more arresting - as if the reflection is without a cause.
