Mill Pond Alverstone

About This Image
Mill Pond Alverstone, was quite a busy place in the 1930s.
The gardens were a beautiful place to have afternoon teas, and to watch the rowing boats on the river.
The stream that feeds the pond, was always kept dredged and free running though unfortunately this is not always true today. Though it is still a beautiful place and a lovely walk, with abundance of wild life and wild flowers, and one of my favourite walks.Enjoy:)
