This image is of Mangere Mountain an extinct volcano to the south of Auckland,it has two sites on top where vents or craters once blew lava.
It has been called a sarcred mountain by the early settlers (Maori)who travelled here by very large canoes with outrigers(Waka).
To walk to the top is only about 10 mins walk and a large view of the Manuakau Harbour and International Airport.
