Thank you, Alex, Diana and Carol. Your grandparents lived there while the bridge was still close by? What a wonderful view, Diana. It's quite overgrown now. The new bridge isn't nearly as attractive. Vicki

Thank you, Karen. Imagine my surprise when I spotted that tiny parking lot at the foot of it . . . after I had climbed up from the road where the horse-drawn trolley was - in 100+ heat! I'm glad I did climb it though - as I would have missed a major element which I'll be submitting in the next few days.

Beautiful composition with the green framing and the railing leading the eye up to the lighthouse.

Thank you, Don. I first saw this light many years ago - but from across the river. Being an avid lighthouse admirer, I was rather dissappointed to discover that this structure is NOT classified as a true marine light beacon. It's still pretty, and its light is welcoming across the waterway.

Very pretty shot, the white lighthouse really stands out. Nicely framed. Don
