About This Image

This is Mary, another sweet dog taken from the pound and euthanasia. When I first saw her in the pound she was so calm, I feared she was old or ill. I know now she is only 2 years old and one of the kindest dogs I've ever known. Pictured here with a kitten who is also a rescue.

They were pals, but the kitten has since been placed with a rescue in another state. Many of my pets are transferred out of state to areas with less of a problem with homelessness. The dog Mary has a home approved and waiting, but as it's in NH we are waiting for transport .

Mary does look such a sweet dog. Am thankful you saved her. I don't understand how so many dogs get left at these shelters. It's very sad.
