Martha Washington Geranium August 2007

thanks so much, Susan and Wilma for the lovely comments. This one got spoiled really, when I dropped a cushion down ontop of it, from the window above, where I was resting my arms to take photos from the open window. It was my most expensive purchase for geraniums this summer, (breaking off a large branch covered with buds and flowers) so I was quite annoyed about that, but not much I could do about it, after the fact :)

This is my favorite variety of geranium. So different from the usual. Unfortunately in the heat of summer here the blooms are small and few. Yours is gorgeous.

thanks Golda, I like these also, -- this one suffered a setback when I dropped a cushion onto it, from the windowledge above! But it survived and rewarded me with these lovely flowers, despite having some branches snapped off.
