A carpet of marsh marigolds covers part of the flood plain at Oatka Creek near Caledonia, NY. The total area covered is about ten acres.

Thanks for your comments! At a guess, that is perhaps ten acres of marsh marigolds, extending a couple hundred feet each side of the creek, and out of sight in both directions through the woods that extend up and down the creek from the access point. This is by far the most we've seen in one place, usually in this area we find them in clumps in roadside marshes and drainage ditches. Bruce

Beautiful color and I like the vertical lines of the trees. It must be so enjoyable to see Alfresco.
