Guest - Nov 28, 2006 06:36 PM EDT Thank you Carol,Anne the story behind Mangroves is that the ecology is doing well if they are present,as they self seed in the brackish water and live in the tidal zone(brackish water is the body of water between the sea and the estuaries that flow to the sea)when mangroves decline that is a backward step for the area, not so here as the foreground is covered in Mangroves, hope this info helps,
regards Vince

Guest - Nov 28, 2006 03:36 PM EDT A wonderful, beautiful view!!! I have read of the mangroves but the main view there *g* seemed to be the roots. Here the misty mountains in the background, the beautiful shades of water and the boats bring an equality of nature that is striking. Is there shrimp in this territory also, Vincent? A different, magnificent look into a strange world for me. Beautiful shot!
