About This Image

This is in the Belle Terre lagoon in LaPlace, Louisiana. The cypress here isn't the renowned cypress knee that many have heard about but rather a stump left from a tree that was in the lagoon. The lagoon was part of a swamp and is now part of the golf course.

Thanks for the comment. I was stumped on weather or not to leave the stump so I left it.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, we even have green and blue water too. I almost cropped the stump but decided not to.
