Fooling around on the Ohio River, I caught a close up of this male Mallard. I thought the colors were nice. Mallards are underated I think. Maybe because they are so plentiful. Thanks for looking. Don

Yes, Don, I agree, Mallards are very underated. You've captured this one beautifully with a nice catchlight in his eye. The lighting has added a lovely sheen to his plumage which has enhanced his wonderful colours. :)
