About This Image

A male Osprey, on top of a post, watching for predators. His, female, partner was caring for baby Osprey chicks about 15 feet away and there were a number of Buzzards nearby, not to mention an American Crocodile! The male Osprey is taking his duties very seriously and is posing just like a sentry guard!

Yes Jas, this osprey does look very serious. It's a great capture. His wings look so tightly against his body. Love looking at this one in the large image.
