Starting the climb up Cardiff Hill in Hannibal, Missouri, I turned back twhen o this view of Main Street when I heard horse hooves.

It was the two trolleys that made this scene for me. Hannibal is where the inspiration for Samuel Clemens' Tom Sawyer evolved. Cardiff Hill, where I'm standing, plays a strong part in the book, and the buildings to the right (mostly out of the image), were also featured there. A life-size statue of Tom and Huck is at the base of this hill.
