Having the centre out of focus in this photo is quite effective I think.

Guest - Oct 17, 2006 04:06 AM EDT delightful image, Shirree! Don't know how I missed this one earlier, but happy to finally see it. The droplets just add the finishing touch!

Guest - Sep 06, 2005 04:59 AM EDT Thanks Savanna, Whittler and Lulu, for your great comments. Savanna, what do you mean 'one day' girl??? Flattery will get you everywhere!
Guest - Aug 29, 2005 07:19 PM EDT I love the water drops and the texture of the petals. These are really hard to photograph as the centres are always in shadow. You have done a great job here.
Guest - Aug 26, 2005 10:00 AM EDT WOW!! thats a great shot.
Guest - Aug 26, 2005 03:28 AM EDT Thank you for all the advice and comments you left under my pictures. I really love this one. It's amazingly sharp for such a close shot! Hopefully I'll be at your level one day.
Guest - Aug 25, 2005 10:51 PM EDT Gosh, you write lovely comments Mel. Thanks for taking the time, and I'm glad you like it - and the rest. I'm gonna take a break from magnolia flowers now - I have been consumed by them LOL - time for something different I think - now I just have to find it!
Guest - Aug 25, 2005 12:59 PM EDT I'm glad you have finally posted your beautiful flowers. All your Magnolia's are lovely, but I really like this one, it's full of so much detail, even though the centre is slightly hidden. It's like the centre is playing Peek a Boo with me.
