About This Image

Wan Hai 505 container ship arrives in Oakland harbor from Chinese ports. It seems like every day, a parade of vessels from China arrive here loaded with television sets, sneakers, clothing, and a variety of durable goods. From this port they are trucked all over Northern California and beyond.
