Lunar Eclipse December 21, 2010

To Matt in Australia. In reference to your question, I only used my 300 mm lens at the 300 mm focal length setting. The reason it looks closer is because I enlarged the image using Photoshop. The fifth and last image was taken at 3:00 AM, just before I called it quits and went to bed.

Great photos and job putting them together... Most of the time our sky is clear in Arizona, but not for the eclipse. Rain and clouds was all we had. ~Alan~

Very nice shots, must ask tho, what else did you use ?, was it just your 300mm lens, I also have taken shots of it and I used m 300mm + a 2x extender and couldn't seem to get as close as you did, I actually have to look at the shot's I've taken, haven't had a moment to spare with Christmas so close. What time did it happen where you are ? It was 20.30 in Australia. Great shots, I approve !
