Guest - Aug 03, 2006 12:00 AM EDT Thanks Golda for commenting. There was a water garden business near where I live, the owner died and it is now for sale, but you can still go in and photograph. This was the first time I had done so and was surprised at the height of the Lotus flowers. They were 4-5 tall. I had only expected the typical water lily that rests on the water. So,. yes, they grow in the water. I'll post a blossom soon.
