Thanks for the comment, Karen. That was visually striking, seeing the longhorns in the snowy field, an unusual sight for Western NY State. This is part of a herd of about 25-30 animals on a large farm about ten miles from home. I suspect they're being kept as a hobby rather than for commercial sale.
