Guest - Aug 28, 2007 09:46 PM EDT Johnny, very impressing this lion.
well done, I like it, never before I had seen so clear the tees and the tongue.
Guest - Aug 20, 2007 11:45 PM EDT Yep, the lion does look like he's yawning. If he was roaring, I think his tongue would be farther back in his mouth.
Guest - Feb 04, 2007 06:56 PM EDT Awesome capture!

Guest - Feb 04, 2007 06:15 PM EDT Not sure what you mean by prime lens. Its a 100-300mm Cannon lens which I used to use on my Canon EOS film camera. On a digital camera it increases the range to around 400mm or more I think.
Guest - Feb 04, 2007 01:02 PM EDT Incredible capture of the lion. Did you use a 400 prime lens?
Guest - Feb 04, 2007 08:16 AM EDT Thanks for comments, I stayed behind the safety of wire netting and a 400mm lens.John
Guest - Feb 04, 2007 04:03 AM EDT Doh! Should be "life and limb", obviously!
Guest - Feb 04, 2007 04:01 AM EDT What a fantastic image! Sometimes just a single image seems to capture the complete essence of its subject and this one really communicates "lionness" if that word exists!
I rather wish you hadn't told us it was yawning, as I'd imagined you as the intrepid photographer risking like and limb to capture this brilliant shot!
Guest - Feb 03, 2007 11:33 PM EDT Terrific capture.
