A new lily blossomed today. What fun it is early in
the morning to check out the little flower garden to
see if anything new happened over night.

Alandra thank you for viewing this lily. Yes, it is an oriental lily and has a very aromatic scent. On a still night it wafts in through the screened windows.

what a beautiful lily, Ann. Haven't seen one that colour before, in that type of lily. Does it have the usual lovely scent that lilies have? I agree, it is fun and rewarding to check on the new happenings in our gardens. We had quite a bit of rain over the past few hours, - first rain in several weeks, so it was needed. But a lot of the flowers got quite beaten down. Hopefully they'll revive once they dry out :)
