A beautiful reflective work of art! The green of the trees made a bower, there were all kinds of faces in the lights - some seemed to be reaching out for me. *g* Lovely colors to dream by!

Kelly it is a great place for the family to go. We usually get a few families together, Pack a picnic dinner and enjoy the music and entertainment then enjoy the lights after dark Thank you for your comment

Hi Tania, glad you are enjoying the site. I must get my butt into gear and take more photos but in the meantime, I've been having lots of fun looking at yours and reading your comments. This is beautiful. We saw plenty of light shows like this while in Canada (but with snow) but I couldn't get many good photos as my camera kept freezing :-) Let me know when you go overseas as Michael and I may have to join you. Just kidding, we need to save for that for the next 10 years after our last trip! Seriously though, you will love it.

Hi Tania, good to know that your friends like Vancouver & area : ) - we hear the same about New Zealand - here's hoping you'll also be able to visit this area sometime soon : ) Yes, it does have a lot to offer in the way of lovely scenery. Infact, the well-known "tourist slogan" is "Beautiful British Columbia", heard in all the ads : )

Alandra that would be wonderful to go to. I have friends that have been to Vancouver a couple of times and say they will be back again by what they have said and the photos it is a very beautiful place

meant to add, this is very pretty. and what a nice idea the Festival of Lights is. We have that in the summer in Vancouver, BC, but it refers to International Fireworks displays lasting a couple weeks.

This photo was taken at Pukekura Park in New Plymouth in the North Island of New Zealand. Every year from November through to February we have "The festival of lights" beautiful colours make lakes waterfalls and trees come to life again after dark. There are entertainers scattered around where you can sit and enjoy. /thank you for your coments
