This is a photo of Tower Bridge in London taken at night(while leaning out of a moving car window!)
It is a piece of my history (as well as British history I suppose!). Born in Stepney and lived near the bridge for a few years. The social changes are immense in that area. Used to be full of poverty stricken slums. Now alot of it is an expensive trendy place that the poor could not afford! Much rebuilding has transformed it to a greater place.
I wanted to experiment with photographs at night. I find it difficult to judge lighting and am still at the trial and error early stage!

Thanks Vicki for looking and writing. Sorry I have just seen you- I am still finding my way around here! Good to hear you know the area. Yes, I heard it was open at some time but never done it myself. No, I don't use tripod- I am no photographer. Oldish camera hit and miss and then play with the images! This was taken as we drove across leaning out the window!

Great shot of Tower Bridge, Mary. When I lived in St John's Wood in the late fo's and early 60's we could not walk across the top - I understand it's open now? You're doing a great job with night shots. Did you use a tripod? Nights shots are the most difficult to master, so give yourself a great pat on the back!
