Karen Moen - Jan 31, 2009 01:05 PM EDT Thank you, Jru1225 and Carol, for your kind feedback. The tree doesn't look this colorful every year. Sometimes the leaves are just red and other years they turn brown too soon.
shutterbug - Jan 30, 2009 02:20 PM EDT Beautiful coloring to each leaf.

jru1225 - Jan 30, 2009 02:19 PM EDT This a wonderful shot! I love the variation of colors in the leaves. I gotta get me a Bradford pear tree!
Guest - Apr 22, 2005 12:58 AM EDT The uniqueness of each leaf is what caught my attention, especially since all the leaves are from one tree.
Guest - Mar 25, 2005 08:05 AM EDT Absolutely great colors. This is a real keeper. Each leaf is unique.
Guest - Mar 24, 2005 10:09 PM EDT Thank you, Dud. It was fun to capture the beautiful color varieties on leaves from the one tree. Just a few began turning color, so I gathered them together.
Guest - Nov 30, 2004 08:47 PM EDT There is not a need for fruit. Beauty is what this tree definitely produces.
Guest - Nov 29, 2004 11:39 PM EDT Thank you for taking time to look at my picture and commenting. These are from ONE tree...Bradford peartree. It flowers in the spring but does not produce fruit. The "ghost leaf" pattern fascinates me, as well as the colors.
Guest - Nov 29, 2004 10:56 AM EDT What type of trees did these leaves come from? They are pretty. They remind me more of Easter then Fall.
Guest - Nov 29, 2004 10:08 AM EDT This is beautiful. Looks like a mosaic.
Guest - Nov 28, 2004 11:53 PM EDT Yes, these are the natural colors. I find them fascinating because there is so much variety. Thanks for visiting my picture.
