About This Image

Someone told me these pretty leaves were probably poison oak or poison ivy. I'm glad I didn't touch them but I liked how the light was shining through the leaves. This was on a tree next to Salado Creek.

Thank you for that information. I was attracted to the fall color as we see little of that around here. Thank you for your kind feedback.

Just ran across this image with its beautiful lighting and color saturation. I don't think it's poison ivy, with the clusters of five slender leaves it appears to be woodbine. Poison ivy has clusters of three broader leaves, but can be similarly colored.

I really like the lighting on this. The highlighted leaves have a nice flow to them. And the dimmed background is a plus.
