Every year our native bush gets claimed by more farm land, no one seems to want to leave any native bush patches on there land anymore. Old stumps like this were in the middle of bush not so many years ago.

Thankyou Golda and Mary for looking in, Areas like this have to be protected other wise we are going to lose out on the wildlife, The Kiwi our national symbol, I have seen one twice, in a zoo, will there be any left for our grandkids, natural bush is so important.

What a great "nurse"stump.I see lots of different vegetation growing out of it.Too bad more and more land is being claimed, taking away natural habitat.
