About This Image

this was a very cute female sparrow, who was searching for nesting material from a flower pot from last summer on our patio. She had some pretty poses for me. taken from the front open window.

thanks very much, Mary in Kent. Yes, that telephoto lens really helps get up close and am enjoying it so much. I never had a very good optical zoom on my other cameras, so appreciate this one. I love sitting at the open window and watching the action, and hopefully catching some of it : )

I still find it amazing Alandra that this is from the window! I would have sworn you were right next to it! The eye and expression-brilliant- like you got its character!
