many thanks Vicki and Vincent for the nice comments. That's an "oldie" shot now, from 2005. We kept meaning to go back there and get more images of the Koi, but haven't done so. It's in my daughter's area, so when there, we're always busy spending the time with family.

Oops - another set I'm only just seeing now, Alandra. Of the three Koi images, this is my favorite. The reflection is so lively yet doesn't distract from the gorgeous fish. Beautiful - Vicki

thanks Lulu for the comment. I bet Flame got a surprise when he landed in your fishpond! it would have made a great photo. My oldest grand fell in our lilypond years ago when he was about 5, and I did get a pic of that, as had the camera "handy" as it happened.

I have Koi in my fish pond but the water isn't that clear. I've been trying to get some photos of their big mouths lapping up the food I give them but haven't been successful yet. While out at the pond the other day, my cat Flame was by my side so I tried to pick him up as I thought he was scaring the fish. As a result, he backed up and ended up in the pond himself, then took off so fast I couldn't even get a photo of him.
