About This Image

We here in New Zealand have just finished a Maori Language Week, where we all try and put some time into learning, speaking and discovering the Maori language. I thought I would do my part, being of Maori decent, and have called my photo Kauanuanu, meaning Respect.

I think this picture is powerful because you chose B/W. It seems to give the waves a serious strength against the rocks/beach. Thank you for such an interesting photo.
