Thanks you Carol and Aladra for your comments. To my limited knowledge of plants, I do not believe it is poisonous, but if you touch one of the mature pods they will explode, hence their other name of Touch Me Not.

that is a pretty coloured flower, too bad it's a nuisance weed : ) Have never seen this plant before. Is it poisonous? sometimes the brightly coloured items are (at least I believe so)
