Guest - Sep 25, 2007 05:40 PM EDT This is a very interesting achitectural picture. My first thought was of the movie, "Bridges
of Madison County". Great photo
of the structure inside of the
bridge.

Guest - Nov 09, 2006 10:51 PM EDT Interesting Carol. not sure if I've ever seen the inside of a covered bridge before, unless in the movie "Bridges of Madison County" :)
Guest - Nov 09, 2006 09:22 PM EDT NIce shot - it can be hard to get the lighting right inside covered bridges.
Guest - Nov 09, 2006 08:44 PM EDT Thanks Anne for the lovely comment.
Covered bridges are becoming a thing of the past.I would love seeing the one that played a part in the Civil War.
Guest - Nov 09, 2006 05:49 PM EDT This is a great shot!!! We have a few old covered bridges scattered through West Virginia and they are honored by all. I love the stories that accumulate about the bridges. How signifant the one was in the Civil War. I enjoyed looking at the structure of this one. Thank you. Wonderful picture of the past!
