Guest - Jun 28, 2007 10:52 AM EDT Thanks for the comment and the info Marjorie,I didn't know that. This guy is a solitary sort,he doesn't come out into the open very often.
Guest - Jun 27, 2007 02:09 PM EDT We have two of these blue buntings
at our bird feeders. Our bird book
says there is a blue indigo and a
blue bunting. One is tourquoise and so gorgeous. They are both
beautiful. They started coming
around in May and are still here
in june.

Guest - May 21, 2007 10:21 PM EDT gorgeous coloured bird. Sure wish these fellas would decide to try our area also :)
Guest - May 20, 2007 10:13 PM EDT Alex - Is this a recent shot? Beautiful. Reason for the question is that the Indigo Buntings left nearly a month ago. I was wondering when they got to you. There were here regularly and then just were gone. Maybe they went north.
Guest - May 20, 2007 05:47 PM EDT Oh! Thank you so much, whittler113, it has been so long since I saw an indigo bunting and never DID see one so close. A great picture!
