Jas - Jun 06, 2008 04:14 PM EDT These are really interesting to view! I've not heard of these before and am sure we don't have them here in England?
I love the colours in this image; the rustic leaf litter and the touch of green, against the creamy white of the Indian Pipes. :)

anne - Jun 06, 2008 09:30 AM EDT What a trip to memory lane and my first encounter with Indian pipes. I picked two to show my Mother and my Granddad saved me from getting a spanking. *g* He also let me set them out. I was so happy to see some again. It has been about 76 years ago. *g* I never found another Indian pipe. They are really an unsual find now - here in our woods. A beautiful picture and memory.
