Thanks for your comment Alandra. Of course, we don't see anything like this, in the wild, in England, so it was a rare treat for us to be able to 'capture' this wonderful creature with our camera. :)

Thank you Maria, Tmr8 and Karen for all your nice comments. Yes, Karen, the lizard was roaming wild; the people who maintain the complex where we stayed were trying to catch it, as it kept 'going' in the pool!

Beautiful close-up with excellent color and detail. Was this lizard wild? They are not a native species and were intoduced by the pet trade into Florida.
